This system is designed for re-laminating wind turbine blades.
The system consists of:
• 10 heating blankets with integrated Pt100 sensors
• Supply cables between heating blankets and control box
• A complete control box.
Control system
Lund & Sorensen has designed a control system that enables users to enter their own specifications in the control unit. An example of this could be ensuring that the temperature must rise by 10°C per hour up to 75°C, after which this temperature must be maintained for five hours.
The control system monitors each individual heating blanket. If the temperature falls below the preset minimum for one or more of the heating blankets, a red light automatically shows on the front of the control panel.
To ensure the most accurate temperature control, we use electronic relays to switch the heating blankets on and off.
We also provide the option of a control system equipped with a data collection function. This makes it possible to both measure and document the temperatures during the curing process.
